Worked examples
Worked example: 20 bets in the week with an average stake of 300 ETB puts you in the 35% tier, so the free bet is 105 ETB. Go to 40 bets at the same average and it's 100%, which is 300 ETB.
Worked example: 40 bets of 50 ETB earns 100% of 50 ETB, a 50 ETB free bet. 10 bets of 200 ETB earns 15% of 200 ETB, a 30 ETB free bet. The same 2,000 ETB was staked both times.
The percentage comes from how many bets you place. The amount it's applied to is your average stake, not the total. Splitting the same budget into more bets raises the percentage but lowers the average.
Our suggestions
- Don't place extra bets to reach a tier. Every bet carries the bookmaker's margin. Ten extra bets you wouldn't otherwise place can easily cost more, on average, than the jump to the next tier pays back.
- Spread across all 5 leagues if you bet on them anyway. It's an easy extra 5%.
- Keep your stake steady. One unusually large bet raises your average, and with it the free bet, but only if your bet count holds up.
